What does "pairing" mean and why does it matter?
Pairing is simply the combination of food and wine to make both taste even better together.
It's not a strict rule or something sophisticated that's impossible to understand.
It's more like finding combinations that make sense.
Easy examples:
- white wines → seafood, sushi, light pasta
- red wines → meats, cheeses, rich food
- rosés → beach, salads, pizza, cool evenings
- sparkling wines → celebrations, brunch, desserts or appetizers
The interesting thing is that wine can change a lot depending on what you pair it with.
And although there are classic recommendations, the best combination will always be the one you enjoy the most.
Because in the end, the best wine is the one that makes the moment more special 🍷
For each wine option, there is a pairing; find out what food you can pair your wine with in the information section.
